I hear sirens screaming through my veins
Weeping lights out of my flesh
Arresting my thoughts with handcuffs
Interrogating the freedom of my soul
Tempting sins have brought me to pounder the cognitive distortions
that bare this sentence upon my fate
Break the shackles, bend the bars, release the misery from my lungs
and inhale the boundless prosperity of this shrouded life

Wow! This is good Chloe. I enjoy the powerful imagery you use in your writing. It really paints a vivid icon of the human emotions racing away.
Cheers
Tom
