Glowing pearls of time are shucked from my oyster morningas the slow rocking of a boat-weekend lulls me into sweet complacency. Here, now,I am a god,I am the ruler of the golden light and keeper of warm secrets. I am the womb-egg and the death-scythe,the complete nothingness of the unfinished everything that teases the world with its uncertainty. I have The Key and The Answer. I know The Thing To Do. But the tides will not tolerate absolutism, and they comelike vestiges to claim me.   They…See More

Poem - The Cat

Hi everyone,I'm popping my blogging cherry on this site, so I do hope i'm doing what i'm supposed to do!I've been reading lots of Mark Tredinnick, so i'd have to say that he probably influenced this little poem.  The cat crawled onto my lap when i woke up on Sunday morning and this is what i wrote in about 10 minutes.  I've since gone back to change it, and can't see that it needs to be changed.  However, if anyone out there has different ideas, i'd be very happy to hear them. So, here we go.…See More

Great to see you getting involved already. This being a social site the more we all do here the more interesting it becomes for everyone.

While there's no editor deciding what gets published there is just a bit of post facto moderation (please do read) to keep it clean and on-topic.

I hope you enjoy your time on the site and find it useful.
