About Libby Hathorn

Poet, novelist and children’s book author Libby Hathorn is also a member of Australian Poetry’s National Advisory Committee. Her poetry collection Vietnam Reflections won last year’s Woollahra Library Word Festival Poetry Prize; her novel Fire Song was highly commended in the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards. In 2010, The ABC Book Of Australian Poetry, a collection for young people, was published. Libby is currently working on a new volume of poetry, Collecting Evidence, for 2012, and collecting poems for her compilation The Woman's The Word.
