This tricky old world
by Ilan
I am listening for peace in thebirdcalls of Getsemmene and the fountains of water that lead to the seafor my heart is my soul andmy wishes,  my dreams in this tricky old world all is not what it seems.
I journey for days into deserts and storms,  Through the thick and the thinand the trails of forlorn for my heart is my soul andmy wishes,  my dreams in this tricky old world all is not what it seems
I come to a place of peace and lovePraying to God for the spirit above for my heart is my soul andmy wishes,  my dreams in this tricky old world all is not what it seems.
In quiet I sleep through the  dreams and the tears this place that I hold in the cave of my fearsfor my heart is my soul andmy wishes,  my dreams in this tricky old world all is not what it seems
I am flying acrossthe heavens tonight In the safety of God and the beacons of lightfor my heart is my soul andmy wishes,  my dreamsin this tricky old world all is not what it seems
The thunder strikes, the light lights, In this tricky old worldall is not what it seems
