Dark cloud over Africa Dark wingu juu ya Afrika
War and poverty beat Kuwapiga vita na umaskini
The drums of Africa can he heardngoma ya Afrika inaweza aliposilia
For the children that cry for the motherland Kwa watoto kulia kwa sababu ya motherland
Africa is in my soulGod I cannot live without you We are the people of Africa
Afrika ni katika nafsi Mungu wangusiwezi kuishi bila wewe Sisi ni watuwa Afrika
Night falls across the dry plains Lions prowl and we must hide Until we are safe once more
Usiku unapoingia katika prowl kavu tambarare Lionsna ni lazima kujificha Hadi sisi ni salama mara moja zaidi
We are the people of AfricaSisi ni watu wa Afrika
