WordinHand will be Geoff Lemon's first gig on home soil after a year living in Argentina. The downsides are that a) he may not remember how to perform a spoken word gig, and b) he might accidentally lapse into bad porteño Spanish. The upside is that he'll definitely have a whole shitload of never-before-seen material. We're talking world premiere, people. Geoff will perform a suite of especially-written and entirely new material, fashioned into what could even be described as a cohesive show, featuring the rolling hip-hop rhythms, poor-taste double entendres, and excessively numerous cricket analogies that gave him the reputation he fled the country to escape.

Each evening features open mikes and an 8 person Slam (contest, judged by the audience, winner gets $50, 2nd prize is a bottle of Poets Corner wine.
