Event Description

With an inheritance from Allen Ginsberg and the Beats, the Symbolists, the Russian Futurists and Artaud, Benjamin Frater (1979-2007) applied their traditions to his vision of the suburbs of south-west Sydney and produced, both on page and in performance, some of the most total and committed poetry of his generation.

On Thursday 18th August, Dymocks Sydney will welcome highly respected Australian poets Alan Wearne and Rob Wilson to the store as they read and discuss select poems from Benjamin Frater’s '6am in the Universe'.
