She likes to think she might have been a Romantic poet in a past life, wandering the moors, musing loftily and dramatically upon the nature of existence, but instead she wanders the streets of Sydney, attending poetry nights and spilling her guts through stories about life so far, finding dark in the light, and light in the dark. Scott Sandwich is a performance poet who performs rants, readings and awkward hip hop, telling stories about dates, death and the apocalypse. He is a true believer that high art academia can exist alongside poop jokes... As long as it's not while you're eating. For more information, visit ScottSandwich.com. Nikkita SHE REX frontwoman Nikkita, usually raps her poetic verse over a kickass girl band but she will slow it down over Veg food and delight Yulli's crews. Relatively new to spoken word, she has a way of taking you on abstract journeys of her past and her active imagination. Her unique style is is insightful and feminine; political and passionate, educated yet raw and is gaining momentum. "If you’ve got your ear to the street, there’s no way you’ll miss her beat.” Brag Magazine. |
