Stephanie . . .thanks for your comments, I take any comments as they come, good,
bad, or indifferent, I'd just add that The wings of solitude is only the title of the
photograph, and in no way reflects my age, or current state of physical, or
mental wellbeing, and you are right, it is a nice photograph. William.
There are in fact different types of solitude, perhaps solitude from people could be an interpretation. Nice Image William.
I never realised that posting a photograph would cause such mayhem !
but I have been insulted by experts in the past, so I can take it.
Another slightly well known Irishman, Oscar Wilde, once stated ' there is only
one thing worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about'
William
Unfortunately the occasionally impetuous Oscar understood solitude only too well, unjustly in Reading and wretchedly during his last days in Paris. Your bird, however, embodies an aura of freedom as it pauses for a moment to rest and prepare for the next journey onward and upward. Skilfully caught [on camera] I thought.
DR
Thanks to everyone regarding this photograph, I think I can safely
say . . . 'this bird has flown' this Yellow Faced Honeyeater. william.
