Impatience to finish responsibilities
is the sour nectar to panic
this refrain dissonates

the memory of myself as a child
therefore
...

the chronos line to youth
I do not walk down memory lane
but leap to the boy I was

the mnemic arch
the leap to past
was the habit formed
to use thought
as jump

the suspension in height
perceives chasms

and he never thought of walking
through slaughter
to meet his young self

the habitual leaper
strolls
and must never doubt
that time's chain will not snap
for the past has happened

and forgetting is but a too bright
link that blinds

walk with patience, memory
because the unfinished waits too.
