Just received: Island 123
Like Overland, Island is one of the stayers amongst the literary journals and Island 123 is the latest package of quarterly awesome from across the Bass Strait.
Poets on deck in this issue are: John Kinsella, Kate Llewellyn, Yve Louis, Shari Kocher Campbell, Robyn Lance, Pam Schindler, Paul Dolphin, Jane Williams, Tim Thorne, Graeme Kinross-Smith, Tracy Ryan, Joanna Preston, Pip Smith, Jillian Pattinson, Libby Hart, Brook Emery, Ashley Capes, DJ Dowsett, Cameron Fuller and Ross Gillett.

You know what I notice in that roster of notables? There are no sydneypoetry.com members. Compare the hit rate with that in the recent Overland 201.
Your task dear members is to deluge Island with contributions. We must break through!

It's not quite the same thing, but: I'm in the latest issue of Island's online spinoff for short works by emerging writers, Islet (www.islet.com.au), for what it's worth.
