I smile a lot…
Make my eyes sparkle…
To save you the trouble of looking
Deep down into the dark pools of my reflections.
Sometimes, I fear you will
Dare to peer into the abyss
And discover the painful truth; everyone has skeletons in the closest…. Even me, whom you,
Placed too high upon a pedestal
Out of sheer naivety.
I am silent because you are too young to share the sorrows of my life….
My burdens may not be yours…at least I hope not!!!
So I smile again; grind my teeth
And gargle the fragments of my frustrations down the gurgler….

You have always ever seen -ONLY the smile!!
