Bill Murray reads to construction workers

But are poems funny? And who amongst us would trust a comedian to read our work anyway?

Clown prince (or perhaps at his age, clown duke) Bill Murray visited the recently constructed Poets House in New York and read to contruction workers on a break.

Founded in 1985 by poet Stanley Kunitz and Elizabeth Kray, the Poets House is a poetry library and literary centre. In 2009 it was rehoused as a rent-free tenant in a new building on the banks of the Hudson River courtesy of the Battery Park Authority.

Check out their site. http://poetshouse.org/

Now I'm imagining Tim Minchin reading Les Murray, or Kitty Flanagan reading Pam Brown...
