I just sent off 5 poems to the Jean Cecily Drake-Brockman Prize. The prize is $1000, a two week residency at Manning Clark House in Canberra and a residency in a castle in Ireland. What a well-considered prize. All hail the architects behind it. I'll cross my fingers, take a deep breath...
