Richard Kelly Tipping Curriculum Vitae
Born in Adelaide, South Australia, Richard Tipping studied at Flinders University and completed both a masters degree and a doctorate at the University of Technology Sydney. Thesis title: Word Art Works: visual poetry and textual objects. He is known for his photography as well as documentary films on writers. He has exhibited sculptures, prints and drawings widely in Australia, and in the USA and Europe. He currently lives in Sydney.
His poetry has been included in over thirty anthologies including: The New Penguin Anthology of Australian Poetry, edited by John Kinsella (2008), The Penguin Book of Modern Australian Poetry, edited by Phillip Mead and John Tranter and the New Oxford Book of Australian Verse, edited by Les Murray.
