This being a social site the more we all do here the more interesting it becomes for everyone.
There's no membership fee, and no editor deciding what gets published (there is though just a bit of post factomoderation to keep it clean and on-topic).
So others here know a bit more about your interest in poetry it'd be great if you introduced yourself with a few words in a post or the text box on your profile page.
I hope you enjoy your time on the site and find it useful, and please let us know what you think.
You are welcome Helen. Thankyou for sharing the story behind the smile. It sounded very romantic and atmospheric, a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on your honeymoon! I loved your At a Funeral and Teaching Mahmoud Darwish's Memory for Forgetfulness. They are thought provoking and both link in well with acceptance of 'what is' and letting go of the past. Well, that is how I see it! There is some moving imagery too. Congrats!
