It was a very pleasant launch with a multi-state presence. The Friend in Hand is a truly atmospheric place and Adrian brought just about every photo apparatus he owns to capture it. I think I spotted Kris Hemensley. It was nice to see Michelle Cahill, Phyllis Perlstone, Anna Kerdijk, Richard Tipping, Sal Brereton, Barbara Brooks, J. Tranter and a late entrance from Phil Hammial. Andy Kissane was on duty selling the book. Liz Allen too. Pam Brown's launch speech was acute and funny and she's probably the most expert reader of Ken's work.
