Uncertainty is an opaque, dogged cloud

Neither forceful nor gentle, but nuisance in it's abundance,

Akin to apathy

Be gone, just what shall rid it?

I aim to wring you from today's saturation

Hands at the ready to strangle

Where be your neck?

Will finds straight line purpose

Creaking at the seams gone rust

The raging mind quakes for traction

Must feeds the conviction

Such power in necessity

Assurance calms like still water

Thought glides like a solitary ripple

Satisfaction purrs to resonate

Content is the man who can conquer a fear.

Harold Stewart and James McAuley, the creators of the great ‘Ern Malley Hoax’ also created three rules for the construction of poems for debunking the modernists, they are:

01]     There must be no coherent theme.

02]     There must be no care taken with verse technique.

03]     In style, the works must imitate as many dead modernoids as possible.

I wonder if there is anyone out there channeling Harold Stewart and James McAuley.
