Svelte Phantom, Night

Coat yourself in a lerp of moonlight until,

When thunder rumbles and the hurly burly which ensues

Puts asunder that bright light from you,

You emerge velvet pitch

An oasis for the soul, transforming the dirty city

Rendering it magical, beautiful.

Those of my ilk ramble, volatile emotions stilled under

Your soothing blanket, until nimble stars prick through and

We gather magnolia petals

Eat sashimi

And wait for Day.
