Cutting Along the Line

You cut through me

With your sharp wit

Or sharp tongue

- I'm sure it is forked -

You cut me between what you will keep, and what to disperse:

Apparently you'll keep the combined financial gains of our relationship

- the house

- the holiday house

- the dog house, with our beloved dog's tail wagging in it

You'll be sending away the other part (your tongue licking voraciously the stamp)

- the heart that you've broken

- an endless pool of tears

For others to distribute your official charitable donation - me!

To any worthwhile cause that may decide to take me
