When you wish

upon a star,

somebody asks

if you have a car.

If you dream

a little dream,

Freud insists

that it’s obscene.

When you dare

to be yourself,

Marx suggests

you share the wealth.

If you try

to seize the day,

the moon will pry

your prize away

Beautiful! :)
Your words are sweet but the truth in them is bitter.

Thanks for your reply, Aya. I hope it wasn't too bitter! I just started reading your "take a good look at my face", which is amazing but required more concentration than I could give at work. Look forward to reading the rest later.
