A social site for poets in Sydney.
Oh, Babe
Even uncles move their heads to turn away,
So different and alternate to their typical appearance.
Holding truth in abstinence of offspring,
They are hollow even as siblings.
Creating sore achronisms he pushed her face away,
Making a real spectacle for them whose iris is empty.
Even the bar diminished and no solidarity was created.
So many crowd the banks, so many turn their backs.
Money creates colourful life, so vibrant and abundant.
But what of the political strife?
Are they redundant?
Justice is only true to the family with no legacy,
Politics is a young mans game with the middle age baring weapons.
Even pregnant nuns argue immaculacy.
And the drunk priest practices origami.
The correct one shoots up lies,
And the wrong one practices solitude with the press.
We cry out to blind eyes,
We shake hands with the deaf.
Mother come and save me,
Father grab your arms,
Brother protect you investment,
Sister don't betray me.
