Hot Tin

Sun attacking hot tin,
day after day
after day.

Pale slim sandy grass,
pragmatically bending
with the wind.

Mulga, suffering proud existence,
defying sun and wind.

Red earth nurturing harmony,
binding life and
cradling relics.

Hot tin surviving.
