Be the alchemist.
Take this burning world
And see inside
A light to bring her back to life.

Be the alchemist.
See the wars we fight
Confused as might.
Melt those weapons into spades
For building homes and planting trees.

Be the alchemist.
Feel the past stings that linger in your skin,
Stand in the sun in the fields,
Let the earth and breeze gently heal.

Be the alchemist.
See the sadness in her eyes,
The one behind that aching smile
Take her in your arms until she knows
That love can heal her earthly woes.

Be the alchemist.
Take unspoken words that block your heart,
Sing a song of worlds apart.
Pain becomes beauty, with vibrating strings.
Filling the air, they will hear you again.

Be the alchemist.
See that forgotten child with hungry eyes
Build him a wonderland of untold joys.
Take from the rich and give to the poor,
Find that balance once and for all.

Be the alchemist.
See the sacred earth overused and ripped apart,
Heal her now before we can't.
Ease the greed that makes her choke.
Plant a seed that feels like hope.

Be the alchemist.
Rise above this hurried scene
Of running in an endless stream.
Find the sacred space between
The thoughts that keep us in this dream.

Rise and see the truth above
That all that lives forever is love.
