Event Description

Ross Donlon has published poems in newspapers and journals. In 2009 he was awarded the Varuna Writers’ House Dorothy Hewett Flagship Fellowship for Poetry. Last year he was winner of the Wenlock Festival Poetry Prize, within the Arvon International Poetry Competition. His work has been broadcast on Radio National’s Poetica and he has read at festivals in Australia and England. His latest book The Blue Dresing Gown and other poems was published by Profile Poetry. In 2012 Ross will be artist in residence in Norway and in Ireland at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre. He will also be guest poet at the Wenlock Poetry Festival in England and the Strokestown Festival, Ireland. http://www.rossdonlon.com/
