Michelle Cahill

Michelle Cahill is the author of The Accidental Cage, which was short-listed in the Judith Wright Prize and Ophelia in Harlem (Kilmog Press, 2010). Her manuscript 'Vishvarupa', forthcoming with Five Islands Press, was short-listed in the 2009 Alec Bolton Prize;  a sequence of the poems were highly commended by the Blake Poetry Prize. She has been awarded grants from the Australia Council, the Copyright Agency Limited and the Australian Society of Authors. With Boey Kim Cheng she co-founded Mascara Literary Review   Michelle blogs avidly at Negative Capability.
