Event Description

To be launched by Clinton Caward, author of Love Machine

Contributors to this year's UTS Writers' Anthology, I can see my house from here, will be on the radar of literary publishers and agents.

Novelist, editor and UTS lecturer Delia Falconer says, "Publishers and agents really do look at the literary magazines and have their eye on them."

This year's collection of thirty- two stories crosses genres covering everything from travel memoir to poetry, through to flash fiction and screenwriting. The styles of writing vary vastly too.

In his forward, Nam Le tells readers to celebrate the diversity, from "the cutting shorthand of David Hale's The Phone Room," to "the controlled slippage of perspective and plot in Craig Bingham's accidence."

Nam Le goes on to write, "Let us praise all the following pieces for their voicing of minds trapped by lives both inward and wayward, and finally for their steady forays into human fragility..."

To be launched by Clinton Caward, author of Love Machine.
