Derek Motion is a writer, reviewer and editor, and the director of the Booranga Writers' Centre in Wagga, NSW. Winner of the 2009 Overland Judith Wright Prize for New and Emerging Poets, Derek has been published in Cordite, Meanjin, Otloliths and Overland, and has had music review poems published in Vibewire.

Sandra Thibodeaux is the Australian Poetry Centre Poet in Residence for 2011. She has published three collections of poetry, the most recent being Extinctions (PressPress, 2010). Sandra has performed at festivals across Australia and Southeast Asia, and has been awarded grants and prizes for her poetry as well as her plays.
