Event Description

There are a bunch of interesting talks on during Creative Sydney. This is the one that most piqued our interest here at Sydney Poetry.

What does creative culture mean in Sydney? What are the wants and needs of Sydneysiders – and are they being met – in our night life, cultural institutions and entertainment quarters?
Leading figures debate the state of Sydney’s creative culture, exploring the sector’s contribution to our quality of life, commercial landscape and cultural diversity. They discuss what Sydney offers to engage the senses, inspire curiosity and fuel the imagination.

Speakers include Richard Evans (CEO Sydney Opera House) and Tim Jones (Artistic Director and General Manager, Seymour Centre) with more to be announced.
