Event Description

Professor of Poetry and Poetics at the University of Sydney, Barry Spurr, presents this new series, surveying the different and contrasting eras of poetry in English. Reflecting broader developments in thought and artistic expression, the series begins with early modern love poetry of the 16th century and concluding with the modernists of the 20th century. Refreshments will be served.
