Founded by Jack Sargeant and Holiday Sidewinder, the Decadent Society has existed to explore literature, philosophy, poetry, art and creativity that is dedicated to the erotic, perverse, narcotic, magical, imaginary, phantastical, the forbidden, rude, spiritual, subversive, dangerous and deviant.

For the last year writers and scholars from within the group, and occasional international guests, have presented talks on their on-going explorations into these and other areas of forbidden knowledge. These lectures have been complimented with musical performances, mondo sounds, ritual feasts, nudity and exhibitions of art works.

Celebrating their first year, the Decadent Society present a unique public event, a wild night of erotic, decadent and visionary mania...
