Debbie Lim

Tricia Dearborn’s poems have appeared in literary journals including Meanjin, HEAT, Southerly, Island, Mascara, Cordite and Overland, and in anthologies including the Best Australian Poetry and Best Australian Poems collections. She has received several new work grants from the Australia Council and was joint winner of the Poets Union Poetry Prize in 2008. She has a background in science, worked in-house in publishing for many years, and now earns her living as a freelance editor. Her first collection of poetry was Frankenstein’s Bathtub, and her second collection, The Ringing World, will be published by Puncher & Wattmann later this year.

Debbie Lim recently published a chapbook, Beastly Eye, as part of the Vagabond Press Rare Object Series (2012). Her poems have appeared in various journals and anthologies including The Best Australian Poems (2011, 2010, 2009), the Newcastle Poetry Prize anthology, Overland, Island, Mascara, Antipodes (US) and Magma (UK). Her prizes include Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Prizes, the Inverawe Nature Poetry Prize (2009 and 2011), and the Rosemary Dobson Prize (2009). She is a freelance medical writer, and is working on a first full-length collection.
