Thanks for your "may attend". Please come, you won't be disappointed. Folk arrived from local media, doorknocking in the postcode, and neighbourhood gossip. Good demos coverage, couldn't believe it; except 30-45 yo's, but that's a general problem. Seems poetry is still loved, even if not always admitted. Just got to keep it tight and clear. Was great last time, is better this.
I'll try to make it, Alastair. I understand about the 30-45 year olds. When I mention poetry at work, people's eyes roll back in their heads and I can't say I blame them. So much long-winded, self-important, pseudo-classical BS around... just listening is hard work, nevermind reading. You're spot on when you say, "keep it tight and clear".
