The Poetica show was great, with some adept choices, but why do Owen and Dransfield always suffer the same hackneyed profile - a la "He-who-died-as-cattle" and "The Junkie Poet"? Neither of the poems featured in the show by these two poets is anywhere near their best work (I would cite "Miners" for Owen and "Heroin Wednesday" for Dransfield), leaving many secure in the belief they have only limited value as poets. Maybe an unfair beef considering what a great job Mike and the crew do on the show. Keep it up Aunty!
