Wood rot, termite
Drunken fight
Parent’s party all-night
That’s the plight of the kid from the Houso block.
The landlord changed the lock
Wedding ring goes on the hock
This nuclear has gone to pot
She hits up the bong
It doesn’t take long
For her too fall through the crack
And cop a smack from a Chinese rock
That’s the plight of the kid from the Houso block.
He won’t pay child support
Centrelink’s a fucking rort
Two jobs she has to resort
Too hold the fort
Nightly the kids cry themselves to sleep
Mummy hears them weep
When there shouldn’t be a peep
The price for respect is steep
That’s the plight of the kid from the Houso block.
Out of school he had to drop
A fool; the label he had too cop
He was Howard’s Battler
In a house as safe as a Red Rattler
It’s not a shock that her brother got shot
For trying to knock over the corner shop
That’s the plight of the kid from the Houso block.
