Hi www.slampoets.com, and welcome to the Sydney Poetry social site.

This is a social site built by the poets (and friends) of Sydney (and surrounds) for the poets (and friends) of Sydney (and surrounds).

You can:

• add poetry events, photos and videos to the site,
• add your own poetry in the Member's Poetry section (but just one a day please),
• write blog posts (and let us know if already blog so we can add you to the members blogroll)
  
• start topics in the forum,
• invite poets you know to join,
• comment on just about everything, or
• just keep an eye on what's happening.

Good to see you getting involved already. This being a social site the more we all do here the more interesting it becomes for everyone. While there's no editor deciding what gets published there is just a bit of post facto moderation to keep it clean and on-topic.

So others here know a bit more about your interest in poetry it'd be great if you introduced yourself with a few words in a post or the text box on your profile page (and add an image for your avatar too if you're in the mood).
