Hi Julie, good to meet you the other week at the UWS event, and now welcome to the Sydney Poetry social site. You are member #96.

This is a site that is built by the poets of Sydney for the poets of Sydney (and friends). There's no membership fee and no middlewoman – there is though just a bit of moderation to keep it clean.

You can add your own photos, videos and events. You can write blog posts, or start topics in the forum.

Have a read of the welcome note and the moderation policy (if you haven't checked them out already) to find out more about the site.

Although the site is just starting up I hope you enjoy what you already find here, and if you do, please feel free to invite other poets (and teachers, readers, writers, performers) you know to join.

Also please introduce yourself, what you write, what you read etc with a few words in the editable text box on your profile page.
