submission of poem, the view from the furthest hill.
just back from ireland and italy to format a book in collaboration with a photographer and an other poet.
i read at the charles cecil acadamy of fine art in florence, italy, in april to american arts postgraduates and teachers and now am reading today [may] in bowral at an exhibition of paintings by michael forster. my poems skirt round and through the artist's work, a brief encounter with the depicted landscape.
