Next time you are in a lift full of people,

Hug the person beside you

Remind them of the past life you lived together,

Welcome them as your reincarnated mother!

Come on I dare you

Start chanting in a supermarket queue,

Wave your hands and proclaim that aliens will be here soon.

Whisper into the ear of a priest, that you are an atheist,

Tell the Mormons ... Joseph Smith was a potato farmer

Not a man of God!

Come on I dare you

Tell a rampaging lion ... he’s all skin and bones

No Bite!

Unlock the cages in a pet store

Release them into the wild!

Take a homeless person home,

Listen to why the thief has to steal,

Unsew the refugee’s lips,

He has something to say

Tell the watchmaker that time is a convention,

Watch the shadows dance around the trees instead.

Shout at the lazy people at the bus stop ... To walk!

“Why do you need umbrellas?”

“When did you last taste the sweetness of rain?”

Interrupt a business lunch,

Confiscate their corporate credit cards,

See how special they feel now.

The modern art connoisseur has no idea,

Reveal to them … undo their blind fold,

Is this the masterpiece they are admiring?

A cluster of rocks glued together,

An old bottle and a worn out shoe? Ha!

Come on now … I dare you!

Peel the orange, discard the skin,

The skin of human convention,

Drink the sweet juice of the truth beneath

Cheers Mary! It was fun writing this. It is in the style of the philosopher Nietzsche. Some people refer to his writings as dark and depressing ... I find his works, exhilirating and enlightning.

Great idea, stepping into the unknown with good will or fun would be a way to see people reactions. Also a quick way to get into the funny farm. But that too could be enlightening.
Hi Ken. defintely a one way ticket into the funny farm! Maybe a better view of the world from in there? Thank you for taking the time to read it. Cheers!

Helloa Thomas,
