I’m fatigue worn

Fatigue worm

Crawling inside

The apple before my eye

Is rotten to the core

Conspiring against the fruit, the flesh

Inbred and untrue

Speak

God, damn you

This silent denial

Is destroying us all

Unseen heart of the desert rose

Lies dormant

Or, just flat out lies

Such devilish disguise

You wear

Is wearing on me now

Heavy, the worm is turning
