This is an open call-out for submissions to the annual publication of ZineWest, a project run by NEW Writers Group inc for Western Sydney writers, cartoonists or other text and/or visual storytellers. ZineWest is presently on the hunt for entries to print in the upcoming edition.

ZineWest reflects the writers in our neighbourhoods - story-tellers, poets, cartoonists. Any genre, any style, any word-based art they can print.

ZineWest is a project run by NEW Writers Group inc. We select around 30 entries to print in the annual publication ZineWest. These entries are eligible for prizes co-sponsored by the Writing and Society Research Centre, University of Western Sydney.

First Prize is  $400 plus book awards.

The ZineWest official launch is in October. There is also a second chance competition that all entrants can apply to and a Spoken Word and Music night with Western Fringe Songwriters.
