Rhizomic presents Tara Mokhtari and Fiona Wright.

Dr. Tara Mokhtari is a writer, reviewer, and lecturer of creative writing and poetry at Victoria University. Tara works as a freelance editor of translations from Farsi to English. She has a background in music management and also in theatre as an award winning playwright, director and co-founder of The Nineteenth Hole Productions (Canberra). Her articles and poems are published in issues of VLAK (forthcoming), HEAT, FourW, Verity La, Cordite and online at taramokhtari.wordpress.com. Tara’s first book, a collection of poems, is due for publication in early 2013 by Finlay Lloyd.

Fiona Wright is a Sydney poet, whose work has appeared in journals and anthologies in Australia, Asia and the USA. Fiona's poetry has featured in journals such as Going Down Swinging, Overland, Heat and the Australia Literary Review. Knuckled, her first collection of poems, (Giramondo Press) was published in 2011 and has been shortlisted for the Mary Gilmore Poetry Prize.
