The George IV Inn in Picton NSW is holding its Irish Festival on the weekend of the 21/22/23rd of August. Its going to be a rollicking good time with bands from the Friday evening till late Sunday afternoon, workshops and of course the POETS BREAKFAST on the Sunday morning.

The POETS BREAKFAST is an 8.30am meet for 9am start 23rd August. Hot breakfast, tea and coffee will be available to buy.
Bring your own original poetry to share, recite a poem from your favourite poet or from the famous Irish poet - Yeats!
There will be prizes on the day for the best recitation and for the best original poem and a mic and PA will be available for the use of the poets.

Its going to be great fun and very informal with lots of laughs in the true Irish tradition. As we will be sat outside in the covered bistro area in the back of the George, everyone (of all ages), will be welcome.
