POETS & ART – POETRY READING & OPEN MIC

Shoalhaven City Arts Centre and Regional Gallery, Nowra

In association with NOW Contemporary Art Prize Exhibition, poets are invited to respond in writing to one or more of the finalists’ artworks. The exhibition, presented by Jervis Bay and Basin Arts, Inc., will run until 8 July. Head to the gallery during opening hours, Tues–Fri 10am–4pm, Sat 10am–2pm, spend some time with the contemporary art and be inspired to write your response to one or more of the works.

The Kitchen Table Poets will hold a poetry reading in the main gallery at Shoalhaven Arts Centre on Saturday 1 July, 12–2pm. Poets are invited to come along to read their ekphrastic poems and all are invited to enjoy the interesting responses to the contemporary works of art.
