Peter Boyle is the author of five acclaimed collections of poetry, including most recently Apocrypha. He has won the New South Wales Premier’s Award for Poetry, the Queensland Poetry Prize, the ARTS ACT Judith Wright award, the South Australian Festival Poetry award and the NBC Banjo Award. A new collection Towns in the Great Desert is forthcoming later this year from Puncher and Wattmann. Peter is also a translator of French and Spanish poetry. His most recent work of translation is the volume of poetry Anima by Cuban poet José Kozer.
