SUBMIT YOUR POEM AND SEE IT BROUGHT TO LIFE ON THE BIG SCREEN
Hello PIFF enthusiasts,
The Poetry in Film Festival (PIFF) is back in 2011 and we are on the hunt for the feature poem to be interpreted into 4-7 minute short films.
Last year, award winning poet Libby Hart was overwhelmed by the quality and diverse interpretation of her poem “The Briefcase Phenomenon”.
PIFF is open to filmmakers from around the world and the best submissions will be screened as part of the festival later in the year.
This year’s theme is ‘communication’ and the poem can be up to 15 lines. If the thought of seeing your work interpreted on the silver screen appeals to you, submit your poem by 28 February 2011.
For more information see www.poetryinfilmfestival.com.au
PS: Members – make sure you're happy with the terms and conditions of the PIFF competition before you enter. Eagle-eyed Chris Mansell spotted this clanger in the Poem Entry Regulations:
6. By submitting the poem the poet automatically hands over the copyright to PIFF without any further consideration, obligation or compensation.
