Alright folks,

It's Caravan Slam time again - last Wednesday of the month. It's almost like we planned it that way.

For one kick-ass night we're taking over the Word Travels pop-up space in the Rocks, and giving it the Caravan Slam treatment. What does that involve? Turn up and find out.

If you want to slam and you've not yet told us, now would be the time to holler.

We'll also be resurrecting the EMERGENCY SLAM. What's that? What does it involve? What's the theme? Why are we employing this rhetorical device of question after question? Read on for the answers to all but one of these questions.

What happens when you let someone else do the talking – is your poem still yours? Find out this month as we exchange poems, old and new. Breathe life into the poetry of another, hear your own with new ears. Three minutes, five poets, and answer the question in this month’s EMERGENCY RE-ANIMATION email sahajones@gmail.com if you're interested, first in best dressed.

The emergency slam is separate to the main slam, and you've got to talk to Saha about that one, so get emailing if you're keen (or just enjoy sending emails).

Same deal as usual - it's 5 bucks on the door unless you're performing, and everyone has to bring their favourite person. Or a picture of them. No Jesuses or porn stars, please.
