The British Council is offering you the chance to realise your creative dream of broader horizons, greener pastures, of bigger fish to fry! Five lucky people will be awarded $8000 and a return ticket to Britain for professional development action!

Renowned for recognising talent on the rise, Realise Your Dream nurtures Australia's best emerging creatives with a professional development programme in the UK.

Five lucky people will be awarded $8000, a return flight to Britain and a chance to connect with UK creative leaders.

Past winners - including playwrights Tommy Murphy and Lally Katz, filmmaker Sasha Ettinger Epstein and performer Candy Bowers - cite their Realise Your Dream experiences as pivotal to their careers, propelling them to further local and international success.

Unlike many awards and scholarships, applications for Realise Your Dream are open to people of any age, from any creative field, living anywhere in Australia.

The only stipulation is that applicants are in their first 10 years of creative practice and can articulate how a trip to the UK will advance their career.
