Named in honour of distinguished Queensland poet Val Vallis, the Arts Queensland Val Vallis Award for Unpublished Poetry is committed to encouraging emerging poets throughout Australia.  Entrants may submit up to three poems per entry, but each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry form and entry fee. 

1^st Prize: $1,000 plus 1 week fully paid at Varuna Writers House / 2^nd Prize: $500 / 3^rd Prize : $250

Entry Fee: $20 per entry
